Submit your volunteer time log approval form here! You need 12 hours of community service to attend the ASCE Southeast Student Conference in March. Hours can come from ASCE or non-ASCE community service events, hours done outside ASCE should be logged through the link below.
*Events, especially non-ASCE community service, will require some type of proof of service. Photos of you at the event, official event time sheets, or a vouching ASCE-UCF officer will do!*

- Saturday October 12th- SERV Mirror Lake Restoration
Seminole County Watershed Management, and the SERV Program invite you to help us plant shoreline vegetation to improve ecosystem function, habitat, and water quality at Mirror Lake! Please note that we’ll be working in the water – part of the fun is getting muddy & wet! Closed toe shoes are required, and old clothes, work gloves, and sun protection are recommended. Specific kick-off: 3644 Lake Shore Dr, Apopka, FL 32703.
- Saturday October 26th- STEM Day UCF
UCF invited K-12 students to come hangout at the University for the day and explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics majors through various activities around campus. Students got to participate in building marshmallow and spaghetti bridges at the ASCE tables with several club members…definitely a hit!
- Saturday November 2nd- SERV Invasive Plant Removal
Club members had the opportunity to get together at the Geneva Wilderness Area with SERV and remove invasive plants from the area. What a great way to get your hands dirty while doing something good for the environment! We had to much fun!
- Saturday November 9th- Model Water Tower Competition
We will be helping out a UCF Alumna in the American Waterworks Association’s Annual Model Water Tower Competition. This event is hosted for local students from grades 6-12 to compete to build the best model water tower. The event promotes interest in water related careers, and expands understanding about how our water systems work. I would have preferred getting this information to you a little sooner, but alas, life happens. I was hoping you might be interested in adding another volunteer event to your schedule. The details are as follows:
Location: UCF Engineering Atrium
Tasks: Sign-In, Monitor Testing Stations, Run Hydraulic and Structural Tests, and Assist Competitors
Perks: Free T-Shirt, Free Breakfast and Lunch (past volunteer lunches have been at 4Rivers and Buffalo Wild Wings), Resume worthy volunteer experience
