3D Printing is one of the newest and most innovative competitions at the ASCE Southeast Student Conference. Each year, teams are challenged to design and 3D print a structural model, such as a bridge or other load-bearing structure, that will be tested for strength, efficiency, and creativity!

Our team meets throughout the year to learn 3D modeling software, experiment with printing techniques, and test different designs and materials. At conference, we compete head-to-head with schools from across the Southeast, seeing whose printed design can hold the most weight or perform the best under specific challenges.

If you’re interested in design, technology, or hands-on building, 3D Printing is a great way to learn valuable skills while having fun. No prior experience is necessary! Our team will guide you through everything from CAD modeling to printing and testing. You can get involved by coming to a General Body Meeting, reaching out to a Captain, or contacting us via webcourses, Instagram, Discord, or ASCE on KnightConnect.
